Mellilah!

On the heels of a "Bellies&Babies" seminar by renouned photographer Sandy Puc on Monday, Tuesday I got to photograph the stunning Mellilah, professional teacher and performer of belly dance. Here are a few of my favorite shots:

Mellilah is breathtaking, isn't she?

Very rarely do I process belly dancing images in Black & White, since their gorgeous costumes are created to be seen in vibrant color, but the "dance" of shadow and light on this particular image, really had me curious to see what B&W would look like...I love it, hope you do to!

Saw your blog spot-lighted on the Me Ra Koh blog and thought I would stop by and gock at your photo's. :0) I'm an aspiring photographer...still have a ton to learn. I love your blog and hope you don't mind me stopping by from time to time to check out what you've been up to. I am looking for any advice and inspiration I can get.

I saw your blog featured on the Me Ra Koh blog and thought I would stop by and gawk at your photo's. I really like what you do. I'm a stay at home mom trying to learn the biz. I'm very much a newby and looking for all the tips and inspiration I can. I even started up a photo club with a bunch of local mom's to figure out how to use our camera's. So, I'm hoping you don't mind me stopping by once in a while to check out what you have been up to.

Ok, new to blogging. Didn't realize how the approval thing worked, so I naturally thought I had done something wrong and posted twice here and again on your new post. Ooops! :0)
